Trick or Treat on the Rails is a 65-minute Halloween ride aboard the Nickel Plate Express’s 1956 train, traveling north through Hamilton County to Arcadia and back. Each child gets a trick-or-treat bag of goodies, everyone gets apple cider, and kids and adults are welcome in costume.
Standard Class tickets are $30 for adults and $23 for ages 3 to 12, and children 2 and under ride free on a lap. The train has heat, air conditioning and restrooms, food and drinks are sold on board by credit card only, and trains run rain, snow or shine.
