Kids ages 5 to 8 hear a fairy tale, then become engineers at the Westfield Washington Public Library. After The Three Billy Goats Gruff, they explore how bridges are built and design a bridge strong enough for all three goats to cross the troll’s river, and in December they take on a Gingerbread Man engineering challenge.
Caregivers may stay and help, and kids who are comfortable on their own may attend independently. The program is free, and families register through the library.
