Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre brings the story of Cinderella to life this summer with the music of Rodgers & Hammerstein, a family-friendly buffet and enough fairy-tale logic to make pumpkins, glass slippers and love at first dance feel completely reasonable.

Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella runs May 28 through July 12 at the Indianapolis dinner theatre. The Broadway musical follows Cinderella as she dares to dream beyond her circumstances with help from her Fairy Godmother, a royal ball and one very important shoe.

A Classic Fairy Tale With Rodgers & Hammerstein Music
Impossible things happen every day in the world of fairy tales. Pumpkins become carriages, ball gowns appear with the wave of a wand and one dance can change the course of a life.
This version of Cinderella includes well-known Rodgers & Hammerstein songs such as “In My Own Little Corner” and “Ten Minutes Ago.” The show is rated G and runs approximately two hours, including one intermission, which makes it a manageable theater outing for many school-age kids.
Beef & Boards’ 2026 Family Show
Cinderella is Beef & Boards’ 2026 Family Show. For this production, children ages 3 to 15 receive a $10 discount off regularly priced tickets. Children under age 3 are not admitted.
Tickets include Chef Larry Stoops’ family-friendly buffet and select beverages. The buffet opens two hours before the show and closes 30 minutes before showtime, so families planning to eat should build in enough time before the performance. This is not the night to test everyone’s ability to arrive exactly on time.
