Christmas on the Square in Danville

Add to calendar

Christmas on the Square fills the Hendricks County Courthouse square in downtown Danville the day after Thanksgiving with lights, music and holiday characters. Families can write letters to Santa and drop them in a mailbox bound for the North Pole, visit the animals at the live Nativity scene and warm up with Danville Fire’s chili. A snowball fight with a few festive characters may break out along the way.

The evening ends with the community tree lighting at 6:30 p.m., when Santa helps light the tree. The Downtown Danville Partnership organizes the free event and plans to announce more details closer to the date.
