Christmas Nights of Lights, presented by Fifth Third Bank, is a drive-thru light show at the Indiana State Fairgrounds with displays synchronized to holiday music on 90.7 FM. The show runs nightly, rain, shine or snow, and takes 30 to 40 minutes to drive through.
Online reservations are required for a timed entry window, with one reservation per vehicle: $40 for a carload of up to eight people, $60 for nine to 15 and $85 for 16 to 35. There are no refunds, and some December nights add later entry windows.
Vehicles enter through Gate 3 at 1698 E. 42nd St. and must clear an 11-foot tunnel, so full-size buses, RVs and limousines cannot enter. Everyone stays in the vehicle, there are no concessions and portable toilets are only at the entrance. Current and former military members get in free opening weekend, Nov. 6 to 8, with military ID.
