Butler Ballet presents its fully staged production of Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker, a holiday family tradition at Clowes Memorial Hall. The live ballet features dancing, costumes, scenery and pyrotechnics, and this year brings back Mother Ginger and her Polichinelles.
Tchaikovsky’s score is performed live by the Butler Ballet Orchestra and the Indianapolis Children’s Choir under the direction of Richard Auldon Clark. Every patron needs a ticket, including babes in arms, and tickets are sold through Ticketmaster. Parking is available in the Sunset Avenue garage, usually for a $15 event fee.
