The Nickel Plate Express provides themed excursions from February-December aboard historic 1956 Santa Fe El Capitan cars. Excursions include wine, beer and dinner rides as well as family-friendly holiday programs and caboose rides on during select months. Track: The Nickel Plate Express operates on 12.5 miles of the former Nickel Plate Road between Noblesville and Atlanta owned by the Hoosier Heritage Port Authority. Excursions board out of Noblesville at 825 Forest Park Drive.
