Families and railfans are invited to celebrate GP7 Locomotive No. 426 at the Nickel Plate Heritage Railroad in Noblesville. This special day honors one of the railroad’s most beloved engines, giving guests a chance to see No. 426 up close, take photos, and experience the feel of vintage railroading.
Throughout the event, $5 caboose rides will be offered on the Monon Caboose pulled by historic GP7 No. 426. It is a short, family-friendly ride that lets kids and adults enjoy the sights, sounds, and motion of a classic locomotive while spending time together at the depot.
