Get ready to celebrate as the tracks of Nickel Plate Express open back up! The train track rehabilitation project is nearing completion, thanks to the unwavering support of the Hamilton County Council and Commissioners. Their dedication to ensuring the safety of the community and passengers is truly commendable.
To mark this joyous occasion, Nickel Plate Express is excited to offer free community caboose rides, generously sponsored by Duke Energy! 🌟
On Saturday, September 9, families are invited to hop onboard the caboose for a short ride. Departures will be available every 30 minutes from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The rides will commence from Hobbs Station, located inside Forest Park in Noblesville.
These rides operate on a first come, first served basis, so it’s best to arrive early to secure your spot on this thrilling journey! No advance tickets will be sold, but it’s important to note that time slots tend to fill up quickly.
