Dog Swim Days in Indianapolis 2025

As kids return to school and the days get shorter, Indianapolis pools will begin to close. Before draining the pool for the winter, many local pools have a fun way of saying goodbye to summer: Dog Swim Days!

We’ve compiled a list of dog swim day events near Indianapolis where your pup can take a dip and join in on the last dog days of summer.

*Please note that many of these require proof of immunizations, so be sure to have those just in case!

Dog Swim Days in Indianapolis 2025

Puppy POOLooza

• When: September 6, 2025, 10 am-2 pm
• Address: Freedom Springs Aquatics Park, 850 W Stop 18 Rd, Greenwood

Small dogs (under 30 lbs): 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
All dogs: 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
All dogs: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Puppy Pool Party

• When: September 6, 2025,  10:00 am – 2:00 pm
• Address: Splash Island: Plainfield Aquatic Center, 651 Vestal Road, Plainfield
• Cost: $10 per dog, with all proceeds going to the Hendricks County Humane Society.

Small dogs (30 lbs and less): 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Big dogs (30 lbs and over): 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
