What makes DeVeau’s Summer Camp Extravaganza unique?
Our summer camps are located in our 56,000-square-foot gym and adjacent property and camp participants have access to that space every day. We aren’t a gymnastics-focused camp but an active kid camp! Every week of camp has it’s own unique theme and a special guest or activity every day.
What activities are offered at DeVeau’s Summer Camp Extravaganza?
Gymnastics, Ninja, music, games, crafts, and more!
What is the camper-to-counselor ratio?
1 to 8 or less.
How much time do the campers spend outside?
Weather dependent, we spend time outside every day during camp.
Does the camp provide lunch/snacks or do parents need to provide them?
Parents need to send a lunch/snack and a water bottle each day of camp.
What is the typical daily schedule for campers?

How old are the counselors and how are they trained?
DeVeau’s Camp Extravaganza summer camp counselors, aged 16 and up, undergo comprehensive training to ensure they are well-prepared for their roles. The training includes sessions on child safety, first aid, conflict resolution, and effective communication. Counselors are also familiarized with the camp’s policies, activity planning, and behavior management techniques to create a safe and engaging environment for all campers.
What accommodations are made for campers with special needs?
Your child is welcome to come and give it a try. Since each child is unique, we can do a trial session and plan accordingly from there. The main concern will be whether your child can stay with their group, as this is crucial for ensuring the safety of all children in the gym. We have experience working with several special needs children, and knowing your child’s participation in advance helps us better prepare and accommodate their needs.
