Indoor Fun at Carter’s Play Place
Carter’s Play Place has lots of ways for kids to move, explore and play. Families will find favorite features like a trampoline, swings, a ball pit, a foam pit, a rock wall and an indoor zip line. There is also a 2-story play structure and plenty of space for kids to roam, climb and reset between activities.
One helpful detail for planning: Carter’s does not require reservations for open play, and there are no time limits. Adults do not pay for entry.
The Calm Cave Sensory Room
The Calm Cave Sensory Room is a quieter space where kids can take a break from the busier play areas. It’s designed for downtime and sensory regulation, with calming items available for different sensory needs. Families can use the room as needed during their visit and return to the main play space when ready.
Carter’s also offers a quieter option called “Calmer Carter’s” once a week. Because they keep it low-key on purpose, families are encouraged to call ahead for details.
Tickets and Memberships
Day Pass
Carter’s offers single-visit play passes and membership options. Current play pass pricing is:
- Under age 2: $13 (required if a child is 1+ or mobile enough to use the playground toys/attractions)
- Ages 2 and older: $18 (plus tax)
Socks: Carter’s grippy socks are required for kids who are playing and are $3.50. Adults need socks on the play floor too (they do not have to be grippy).
Membership options:
- Monthly Membership: $60 for 30 days (3 kids per household) +$10 per additional child
- Annual Membership: $300 for one year (3 kids per household) +$50 per additional child
Members can also take advantage of Member’s Only Night on Wednesdays from 5:15–6:45 p.m.
Good to know: Carter’s offers free coffee and popcorn in the lobby. Families may bring their own snacks and drinks and eat in the lobby seating area (they ask that food and drinks stay off the blue mats in the play space).

Kiddie Carter’s: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m.–12 p.m. are reserved for ages 4 and under.
