Students attending summer camps at Bishop Chatard High School have the opportunity to learn from our world-class teachers and award-winning coaches, as well as talented Trojan student athletes, artists and performers. Students can try different actives and interests, all while being on the Bishop Chatard High School campus!

STEM, robotics, VexIQ skills, coding, creative writing, painting, printmaking, musical theatre, improv theatre and acting, service camp, adventure and hiking, football, wrestling, basketball, volleyball, softball, baseball, soccer, cheerleading and lacrosse.

How much time do the campers spend outside?
The location of camps depends on the camp, as some athletic camps are primarily indoors (such as wrestling, cheerleading and court sports). Campers in outdoor sports will spend the majority of their time outside, while enrichment campers will have the opportunity to be both in the building and outdoors.
Does Bishop Chatard High School Summer Camps provide lunch/snacks or do parents need to provide them?
Snacks are provided to enrichment campers. Campers participating in both morning and afternoon camps can eat lunch on campus. Campers need to pack a lunch.
What is the typical daily schedule for campers?
Camp schedules depend on the camps, but all camps include break times and play. Musical Theater and Improvisational Theatre camps include a performance at the end of the week and most athletic camps include time for games and scrimmages.
How old are the counselors and how are they trained?
Camps are staffed by Bishop Chatard teachers and coaches, supported by Bishop Chatard student volunteers (student athletes, performers, artists, etc.). All camps are overseen by Bishop Chatard staff members.
What accommodations are made for campers with special needs?
We will do our best to provide the accommodations needed for students with special needs whenever possible. Parents can reach out to our camp director with any requests and we will do our best to meet them!
