The Summer Movie Express program is back for 2026, and tickets are still just $1. That budget-friendly price tag makes it one of the easiest ways to keep the kids entertained on a hot afternoon.

Regal Cinemas screens family-friendly films every summer for $1 admission. This year’s program kicks off June 1 and runs through August 13. Each week features two PG-rated movies playing at 11 a.m. Monday through Thursday, so it’s an easy fit for rainy days, tight budgets, or families who just love a morning at the movies.

When do the movies run?

What about snacks?
Anyone with a Summer Movie Express ticket gets $3 off a Snack Pack (junior-sized drink, popcorn, and fruit gummies) or a cup of Dippin’ Dots. Tickets are available at the box office, on the Regal app, and at regmovies.com. Regal Unlimited members can grab seats as part of their subscription.
Anything else?
Theaters tend to fill up, so we recommend arriving 15 to 20 minutes early if you have a specific film in mind. A portion of admission proceeds benefits Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
