4th of July Celebrations and Festivals in Indianapolis

It’s hard to believe that the 4th of July is only one week away! It’s time to break out the red, white, and blue attire and take your family to one of these star-spangled events.

Celebrate America’s birthday this 4th of July weekend at Piney Acres Farm!! The farm will be open to any and all farm friends on Friday, July 1st from 6-9 pm. As a thank you to our community for their continued patronage, this event is completely FREE!

Lights Over Morse Lake Festival

Dates: July 1-4
Location: Morse Reservoir, Noblesville

Symphony on the Prairie: Star-Spangled Symphony

Dates: July 1-4
Location: Conner Prairie, Fishers

Pack your picnic and wear your red, white, and blue for the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra’s annual celebration of America. The ISO will salute all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces each night.

Independence Day Celebration at the Indiana Historical Society – Free Admission Day

Dates: July 2
Location: Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center, Indianapolis

Join the Indiana Historical Society throughout the day for fun crafts and activities that explore some themes related to our country’s founding. Share stories of your celebrations, and what it means to be a citizen, and explore Indiana history through the Indiana Experience.

Location: Grand Park Sports Campus, Westfield

Check out all of the great attractions at Westfield Rocks the 4th – the Park Department’s biggest event of the year! Expect great food, fun activities for the kids and family, and plenty of local retailers, and live entertainment!

Franklin Firecracker Festival

Dates: July 3
Location: Franklin Amphitheater, Franklin

Come to downtown Franklin for food vendors, entertainment, fireworks and more. The festival kicks off with food trucks and a beer garden starting at 2 p.m. The schedule also includes the Fastest Kid in Town Race at 6 p.m. 

CarmelFest 2022

Dates: July 3-4
Location: Various locations in Carmel

CarmelFest is a beloved annual summer tradition for families and friends throughout Indiana. Come make special memories! Enjoy live entertainment and delicious festival food. Independence Day Social at Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site

Dates: July 4
Location: Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site, Indianapolis

This Independence Day, visit the home of America’s Hoosier President and join us for a patriotic celebration for the whole family! Enjoy first floor tours of the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site. Then, cool off with some ice cream for just $3 while playing fun yard games and listening to patriotic music.

July Fourth Celebration at Victory Field
