Independence Day Social at Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site

Celebrate Independence Day at the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site with family-friendly activities, free first-floor tours, patriotic music, crafts, yard games, balloon artists, and festive treats available for purchase.

Guests can explore the grounds, take part in hands-on activities, and enjoy historical interpretation throughout the day. The event also includes welcome remarks, a community sing-along of the National Anthem, a Civil War soldier interpretation, and a Benjamin Harrison lookalike contest with prizes for one child and one adult winner.

The event takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

11:00 a.m. – Event opens with free first-floor tours, crafts, yard games, balloon artists, concessions, and activities
11:15 a.m. – Welcome remarks and National Anthem
12:30 p.m. – Civil War soldier interpretation
1:30 p.m. – Benjamin Harrison lookalike contest
