The Indy Winter Farmers Market (IWFM) was founded to connect farmers and producers to the community and foster personal relationships in the exchange of fruit, vegetables, meat, dairy, baked goods, herbs and natural products while promoting access to local, healthy food for all.
When: Every Saturday, November through April from 9:00am – 12:30pm
Where: Circle City Industrial Complex, 1125 E Brookside Ave, Indianapolis
With a vision of transforming black lives by making a direct correlation between healthy eating habits, learning abilities, and overall good health, the Indiana Black Farmers Co-Op is one of the best ways you can support local farmers. Their winter farmers markets have come to an end for the season, but you can still find their members at other markets around the city. Find one here.
In what is known as “The Wire Factory,” the Carmel Winter Farmers Market plays host to some of the best treats and produce around town, as well as live entertainment and special events throughout the season.
