Water Safety Awareness Month

On Saturday, May 20 families can head to Goldfish Swim School Carmel and Fishers  to receive tips on staying safer in and around the water this summer during their free water safety event.

WHO:   Goldfish Swim School’s professional, certified and trained instructors, area families and local community partners
 
WHAT:  Goldfish Swim School’s annual Water Safety Day will be held at the Fishers and Carmel locations. At the free events, children and families will receive information about ways to stay safer in and around the water this summer. According to the Centers for Disease Control, drowning is the leading cause of accidental-injury death among children ages 1 to 4. Goldfish aims to educate families by calling attention to steps we can all take to prevent accidents from occurring.
These important messages will be delivered in a fun and inviting environment:
·       Water safety tips from Goldfish and safety professionals
·       Family swim with professional, certified lifeguards on duty
·       Fire trucks and rescue personnel
·       Water safety clinics
·       Kids entertainment
·       Food and beverages
·       Open Swim
·       Bounce House (Carmel only)

WHEN:  Both events will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.
