(In fact, both strawberry picking and blueberry picking our on our summer bucket list.) And here in Indianapolis, we have lots of U-Pick farms specializing in summer’s official fruit.

Spencer Farm

Hours:  Monday thru Saturday 9:00 am-7:00 pm, Sunday 12:00 pm-6:00 pm.
Cost for U-Pick: Pre-picked Strawberries are $4.75/heaping Qt., U-pick Strawberries will be $2.25/lb.

Waterman’s Family Farm

Hours: 8:00 am- 8:00 pm, Monday- Saturday

Landess Farm (Little farther North but worth the drive!)

Hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday through Friday. Closed Saturday.
Cost for U-pick: $4.25/quart or (Bucket=4 quarts)
*Annual Strawberry Festival, June 11, 12:00 pm- 6:00 pm, Admission is $6/car and includes wagon rides, live music, field activities and parking.
