Traders Point indoor playground “The Park” is A+ fun

Traders Point indoor playground_Indy's Child Magazine

Today I took my two munchkins out of school early just so we could come check out The Park at Trader’s Point Christian Church. This isn’t usually my MO, but we’ve never been here before and our friends have loved on it so much that this visit is purely for research’s sake {just don’t tell the kids}.

Traders Point indoor playground is conveniently located just north of the 865/i-65 merge off the first Zionsville exit.  Living in Noblesville we don’t make it to the west side of town often but I may find some reasons to head this way a bit more. This place is amazing! I am able to get my work done and wear the kids out at the same time. Um, and FOR FREE! This could not be more of a win-win.

So if you’ve never been, then bear with me as I set it up: When you first walk in to the play area you may find yourself a bit overwhelmed – this is the biggest indoor playground I have personally ever seen. There are SO many things to do here. My kiddos both headed straight for the trampoline when we arrived. Then they climbed up the first bubble wall they saw and I have not seen them much since {other than the occasional ‘Hey mom! Look at me!’}. I have parked myself on a bench along the side wall and I know I don’t have to worry – I can see them from here and there is a kind staff member manning the entrance of the room to make sure no one runs off without an adult.

  • A smaller version of the playground for kids five and under
  • Five fun, different shaped slides
  • A slide-along ride {someone fill me in – what’s this called?}
  • Tunnels to climb through
  • A rock wall to climb on
  • Two small basketball courts
  • A quiet area for our special needs friends
  • Plenty of other moms trying to get work done while their kiddos play {ok, that feature just makes me feel better about myself}

I must say though, one of the very best things about this playground is that my little can run around, be almost as loud as they want to be, and they will fit right in. There are kids here of all ages and they are all having an awesome time. We will definitely be visiting again, whether it’s for a meeting, a playdate, or I just need them to burn off some energy.I am kicking myself for not having been here sooner!
