Robin Williams returns to Neverland in Hook, Brownsburg’s July outdoor movie pick. Families can bring blankets, lawn chairs, snacks and drinks, while Brownsburg Parks provides the popcorn. The movie runs a little more than two hours, so this one may require a later bedtime than the average park outing.
Cool Creek Concert Series: Midtown Madmen | Cool Creek Park | 6–9 p.m. | $5 adults, children 12 and under free
Midtown Madmen close out the Cool Creek Concert Series with an outdoor performance at the park. Gates open at 6 p.m. and music begins at 7 p.m. Families may bring blankets, lawn chairs, food and drinks, with kids activities, food trucks and beverage vendors also available.

Downtown Muncie heats up with special-shape hot air balloons, live entertainment, family activities, food vendors, games and contests. This year’s schedule also includes a zip line, model aircraft demonstrations, remote-control car racing, a kids area, a balloon glow and fireworks. Admission is free, although activities such as tethered balloon rides and the Duck Drop cost extra.

Bring chairs or a blanket for a day on the lawn with live music from The Doo! Wine is available by the glass or bottle, and food trucks are scheduled for many concert dates. Outside beer and alcohol from other wineries are not allowed.

Main Street closes to traffic for an evening of live music, food trucks, local drinks and a designated kids area. Pigeons of Market Square open the show, followed by headliner The Dundies. Gates open at 5 p.m., giving families time to get inside and find a spot before the music begins.
Greenwood Summer Concert Series: The Big 80s | Greenwood Amphitheater at Craig Park | 7–9 p.m. | FREE
The Big 80s take the amphitheater stage for a free Saturday night concert. Bring lawn chairs, blankets and a cooler for an easy evening at Craig Park. Coolers must be single-handled and no more than 20 inches long, and outside alcohol and glass containers are prohibited.

Pokémon League at Books & Brews | Books & Brews, Brownsburg | 6–8 p.m. | FREE
Pokémon players of all ages and experience levels can meet other trainers, trade tips and take part in friendly battles. Kids who are just learning the game are welcome alongside more experienced players.

GM Horns Big Band wraps up Zionsville’s summer concert series at the Lions Park bandstand. Bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. Food and drinks are available by donation to support Lions Club Park.
