The Smitten Kitten Cat Café is Hamilton County’s first cat Café, and opened its doors on January 28. The cafe’s mission is to reduce the number of abandoned and homeless cats in the community. The cat lounge is a safe, cage-free environment for adoptable cats and visitors to interact.

The Smitten Kitten Cat Café is located at 7852 E. 96th Street in Fishers, Indiana.
How old do guest need to be to visit the cat lounge?
Kids of all ages are welcome but like all of our guests, they must be able to follow the cat lounge rules. Some of the rules for visiting the cat room include: no running, jumping or screaming. Adults must accompany guests under the age of 13 in the cat lounge. Adults may supervise up to three children at one time.
How much does the cat lounge cost?
Visiting Smitten Kitten Cat Café is free of charge, but a fee is charged to enter the cat lounge.
The cat lounge prices are:
- 30-minutes: $10/person
- 1-hour: $18/person
These fees help cover the cost of employing well-trained staff and providing cats with a safe, healthy environment.
Are reservations required?
Reservations are highly encouraged to guarantee a visit into the cat lounge. Walk-ins are welcome, but space inside the cat lounge is limited; at any given time no more than 15 people are allowed in. The coffee café is always open to walk-ins.
Can you adopt a cat at the Smitten Kitten Cat Café?
Yes! But you will still need to submit an application directly to the Humane Society of Hamilton County. After you are approved, you will go to the Humane Society to pay their adoption fee and participate in a brief interview—to make sure that your chosen cat is right for your household. After the interview, you can return to Smitten Kitten Cat Café to take your new family member home.
