Summer at Indy Parks

Summer is in full swing at Indy Parks! From pools and concerts to splash pads and free summer meals, we have something the whole family will enjoy.

Make a Splash at a Pool

If you’re looking to take a dip in the water this summer, we have pools open across the city. This year, you can pay a small admission fee for single entry to the pool or purchase a $40 per person Fun Card which will get you into one pool per day for the whole season. The season runs through August 6.

Swim lessons are being offered at various pools this season. Participants ages 3 to 5 years old can join a preschool class, and those ages 5 to 15 years old can join a youth class. Parent & Me classes are also offered for little ones ages 6 months to 4 years old. Scholarships are available for swim lessons. To learn more and register for classes, visit parks.indy.gov.

Swimmers between the ages of 6 to 8 can join a swim team at select pools this year and learn about the world of competitive swimming! The city-wide swim team program is designed to help swimmers take their skills to the next level. Learn more and register at parks.indy.gov.

Enjoy Summer Servings

During the summer months, Indy Parks serves nutritious meals to kids ages 18 and younger when the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Program meals are not available. This program is offered at 10 park locations and through six mobile units that visit 35 locations daily from Monday to Friday. To view locations and schedules, visit parks.indy.gov.

We hope you make Indy Parks part of your summer plans this summer. Whether through a dip in the pool, enjoying a concert or movie in nature, through a program, or just through a walk in the park, we look forward to welcoming all into our park spaces not only this season but every season.
