Calling all American Girl fans! Forget that annual trek to Chicago. An American Girl Store has arrived in Indianapolis for the holiday season!
The wildly popular doll store opens its doors at Castleton Square Mall on Saturday, October 24, and will remain open through January 31, 2016.
Hours will be Monday through Saturday, 10:00 am to 9:00 pm and 11:00 am to 6:00 pm Sunday.
What You Need to Know About the Grand Opening

-Castleton Square Mall will open tomorrow (Saturday, Oct. 24) at 8am for shoppers to line up early for the grand opening. At 9am the American Girl Store will begin handing out tickets to guests. The store will open at 10am and the shop will allow 50 visitors inside at a time.

-Every shopper will receive a special Beforever book with purchase, tomorrow only.

-Castleton Square Mall will host crafting all day in the main area of the mall on Saturday, and in-store crafting all day Sunday.
What the Store Has to Offer
In addition to a full line of American Girl features dolls with impressive back stories, like Grace Thomas, described as a “big-ideas girl who makes baking her business,” the Castleton Square store will also carry a line of carefully thought out products that help bring your child’s imagination to life, including accessories, clothing, furniture and bakeware. Patrons will also have access to:

-Craft workshops, which will run until the store closes on Jan 31. Crafting workshops will be announced on the American Girl website.

-An announcement of The American Girl of the year, which will take place at the Indianapolis shop on January 1.

The American Girl Doll shop at Castleton Square Mall will feature a Doll Hair Salon, where shoppers can take their dolls for new hair do’s. Have an American Girl Doll whose hair has seen better days? Stylists are on hand to help fix messy and matted hair. Doll owners can also visit the shop to have their dolls ears pierced.
