Smiley Indoor Playground & Arcade near Castleton Square Mall is a huge, 25,000-square-foot spot with multiple play zones for younger kids, plus a redemption arcade that the whole family can enjoy.

The play areas are designed for kids 10 and under (Smiley also notes they are oriented for ages 9 months to 10 years), with children up to age 12 welcome to play. The arcade is open to guests of all ages.

  • Ages 2 & under: 1 hour $14 | 1.5 hours $18 | 2 hours $22 | All-day $26
  • Ages 3–10: 1 hour $17 | 1.5 hours $22 | 2 hours $26 | All-day $30
  • Adults: One adult with a child age 2 & under is free. One adult assisting a child age 3 or 4 is $9.

Weekends (Friday through Sunday)

  • Ages 2 & under: 1 hour $16 | 1.5 hours $21 | 2 hours $25 | All-day $30

Other helpful pricing notes

  • Adults who are not entering the play areas do not pay.
  • Grip socks: $3.99 (plus tax). Lockers are $4.00 (car key deposit).
  • Military discount: Needs confirmation. Call ahead to ask whether this is currently offered.

What to bring (and a couple tips)

Grip socks are required for everyone entering the play areas. Smiley reusable grip socks cost $3.99 (plus tax) and can be reused on future visits.

No outside food or drinks are allowed, but the cafe is handy if you need a snack break. Birthday parties may bring cake or cupcakes.

If it is your first visit, you can save time by completing the
waiver online
before you arrive.

Sock exchange policy: Needs confirmation. If you have grip socks from another facility, call ahead to ask whether Smiley offers an exchange option and the current fee.

The arcade runs on a slightly different schedule than the playground. Hours may change due to private rentals.

The arcade uses a play card system. Load credits at one of the kiosks using cash or card. Tickets and credits stay on your card, so you can save them for a future visit or redeem prizes right away. Gift cards are available at the front desk.
