Road Trip: The Beach Waterpark in Cincinnati

Looking for a “beach” day with thrilling waterslides for the kids and a relaxing lazy river and pool oasis for the adults? Well, search no further than The Beach Waterpark in Warren County, Ohio’s Largest Playground®. Adventure awaits at this Midwest attraction; you need to take a road trip to The Beach Waterpark in Cincinnati this summer!

Located in Mason, The Beach provides tons of water attractions in a safe and secure environment. The Beach is a summer must for anyone in the tristate area! I really enjoy taking my daughter and friends at park opening during the week. The crowds are low and I feel comfortable letting the kids (ages 7 and up) roam the park by themselves. However, parent supervision is essential to a safe and fun day at the waterpark. Our party has strong swimmers, but I’m always extremely pleased with the number of lifeguards assigned to each attraction.

As we explored the park on a 90 degree day last week, the girls were super excited to finally be over the (average( 45” height requirement, which meant enjoying slides such as The Cliff, Cowabunga Curl, Banzai Blast and Kamikaze. And with short lines, they enjoyed each slide at least three times. Nothing makes me happier than hearing my child giggle and scream with excitement… and the Beach Waterpark guarantees fun and thrills with every swoosh and splash.

And The Beach is not just for kids: as the girls continued to slide and play in the Big Creek Beach playground, the moms enjoyed sunbathing on inner tubes while floating along the 1,200-foot long river throughout the park. Then under lush palms trees, we relaxed at Paradise Cove. This tropical escape includes a heated pool surrounded by waterfalls and beautiful rock formations.

Finally, we completed our visit with a trip to the snack bar and enjoyed hot dogs and jumbo pretzels. And after a day at the waterpark, your little ones will build up quite an appetite! Please remember that no outside food, beverages or coolers can be brought into the waterpark.

The Beach Waterpark is definitely a great place for the whole family to enjoy. I suggest bringing these items for a fabulous day:

  • Cash/Credit Card ($8/parking, $8-$15 lockers)
  • Towels
  • Sunscreen
  • Hat/visor
  • Sunglasses
  • Swim suit/Cover-up
  • Flip flops/water shoes/sandals
  • Beach bag
  • Goggles
  • Hand sanitizer

All summer long The Beach Waterpark, has special deals and events you won’t want to miss. And one trip to The Beach Waterpark is never enough; your family will want to experience all the excitement again and again all summer long!
