Register for Indy-based Minecraft Virtual Realms Camps this June

Indy STEM Camps specializes in Minecraft-themed camps for elementary and middle-school age children.

As of now, all in-person Indy STEM Camps for the month of June are being transitioned to virtual platforms. Because kids can’t physically can’t go to camps during this time of social distancing, the camps are coming to you!

The Indy STEM Camps development team has been hard at work play-testing and preparing to bring the very best that Minecraft Camps have to offer to a virtual online camp experience that children can join in on from their own computers at home!

This unique online experiences gives campers an opportunity to participate in a Minecraft Realms world under the supervision of two Indy STEM Camps counselors. Each Minecraft Realms camp will have a maximum of 9 campers working collaboratively with each other and with in-game counselors. Counselors will play in-world with campers and communicate with campers via Zoom and the in-game chat. As a result, campers should be somewhat self-sufficient and be able to read and type using the keyboard.

Please note that kids who have never played Minecraft on a PC or MAC or who get frustrated easily should refrain from enrolling in the virtual camps.

Visit their website to explore and register for the “Minecraft Virtual Realms Camps” in June, as well as the on-site camps currently scheduled for July.
