As an attorney, mother and boutique owner, Wandini does it all. She opened Profyle Boutique last August because it had always been a childhood dream of hers. That dream became true for her when she made her 10-year plan a one-year reality.
Profyle Boutique allows women to express themselves through their style minus the stuffy atmosphere. Wandini loves to describe Profyle as “high fashioned without the attitude.” She offers Plus size clothing because she believes no woman should feel excluded from fashion. Profyle welcomes everyone, and there is even a play area for children stocked with juice and snacks, and a flat screen TV for spouses so they don’t have to miss the big game while the ladies shop. The store stays true to its Midwestern roots with Wandini’s love of shopping and supporting local. Some of the clothing is exclusive to not only Indy, but Indiana.
Many people ask how Wandini juggles so many roles seamlessly. Wandini credits her support system for helping her to accomplish her success. Being a full-time working mother and business owner is no easy feat, yet securing a committed and trusted support system makes it a little easier. Her children stay entertained and engaged with the help of great schools, their babysitter and their hands-on father. No matter what days at work or the store look like for Wandini, family remains top priority.
Wandini’s has three key pieces of advice for multitasking women to never lose sight of what’s important:
1. Always devote quality time and energy to the people that matter the most.
2. Nurture your dreams, no matter how far off they seem.
3. Have compassion (and girl power!) for other women.
Profyle Boutique is located at Ironworks at Keystone, 2727 E. 86th Street, #125, Indianapolis.
