Piney Acres Farm: A Fall Day of Pumpkins, Play and Adventure

A corn maze to explore, a train to catch and a 150-foot dual slide to ride: Piney Acres Farm gives families plenty of reasons to head to Fortville this fall. Located just east of Indianapolis, the farm is open daily September 19–October 25, 2026.

Whether families visit for a few hours or spend the entire day, there’s fun around every corner for kids and adults alike, with pumpkin shopping, hay rides and plenty of places to climb, bounce and play.

Big Slides, Corn Mazes and Farm Rides

One of the farm’s standout attractions is Piney Pete’s 150-foot dual slide. Riders must be at least 42 inches tall, making that a helpful detail to check before promising a slide-loving kid their first ride.

Families can also explore the corn maze, hop aboard the Piney Express fall train or take a hay ride around the farm. A separate 1-acre kids’ corn maze offers a smaller maze to tackle.

Room to Bounce, Dig and Explore

The farm’s bounce pads, playgrounds and kids’ games give visitors plenty to explore between rides. Kids can try gem mining, investigate the fossil dig or take aim with the air cannon.

Barnyard animal visits, duck races and pedal karts add even more variety to the outing. When it’s time for a snack break, Piney Pete’s Whistle Stop offers treats such as donuts, popcorn, pretzels and nachos.
