Does Park Tudor have a homework policy?
While we do not have a formal homework policy, our teachers are very thoughtful in how they utilize homework assignments. The research is clear – the quality of a homework assignment is much more important than the quantity of time it demands from a student. As a result, our teachers are mindful of what they are asking of students outside of class.
Our philosophy is that homework should have a clear purpose, target specific areas of growth, and students should receive high-quality feedback on their assignments. It is crucial that homework is part of the learning process, not just an add-on.
Does Park Tudor offer support for students with special needs?
We do offer Learning Services, including tutoring services, instruction and assistive technology, and when determined appropriate, assessment and feedback. While not every student will require these services, every student benefits from Learning Services resources.
