Panther Park is a great park in Whitestown, a town located just northwest of Indianapolis. This park spreads out over 5 acres, and includes a fun playground for all ages, a basketball court, a picnic shelter, a 0.31-mile walking path and lots of open green space.
Panther Park Playground
The fun, brightly colored playground at Panther Park offers playground equipment for different age ranges. The playground structure for toddlers has two slides and lots of opportunities to climb and play pretend.
For the older kids, there is a playground structure with tube slides, a rock climbing wall, fireman pole and net wall. The playground structure is great for kids who like to climb! And for kids who like to climb AND spin, there’s a spinning sphere climbing structure here, too.
The swing set has swings for all ages and abilities, including a tandem toddler swing.
One of the great things about this playground is that there are benches with shade umbrellas! You’ll also find lots of shade in the picnic shelter, which sits right off the playground.
The playground at Panther Park has a rubberized padding on the ground, so this is another great place to play when you are looking for a mud-free playground.
