A Tale of Love and Deception
Swan Lake isn’t just about dancing—it’s a dramatic story filled with magic and suspense. It follows Princess Odette, who is cursed by an evil sorcerer to live as a swan during the daylight hours. The only way to break the spell is through a vow of true love.
When Prince Siegfried falls for Odette, it seems like the curse might finally be broken. However, the sorcerer has a plan to ruin everything. He introduces the Prince to Odile, the “Black Swan,” who looks exactly like Odette but is actually there to trick him. It’s a story about courage, betrayal, and the struggle between good and evil.
World-Class Talent on Stage
This production is a major event because it brings together local rising stars and professional dancers. You’ll see student performers from Carmel and Indianapolis sharing the stage with guest artists from the Louisville Ballet and Grand Rapids Ballet.
