Maria Montessori International Academy, a local school, has applied for a $100,000 grant from Chase’s, Mission Main Street Grants®. MMIA must submit a questionnaire outlining a business plan that will result in growth of the business and receive at least 250 votes to be eligible for a grant. The voting deadline is June 19, 2015 and grant recipients will be selected by expert panelists. “MMIA has been offering Indianapolis-area parents the benefits of a Montessori education, including early literacy and a love for learning,” says Vivian Cain, founder of the school. “This grant would be significant in helping us to continue that legacy, ensuring that many more children have the opportunity to receive an excellent education at an affordable rate.”
Through Mission Main Street Grants, Chase will award $2 million to 20 small businesses across America. All businesses that apply for a grant and meet the eligibility requirements will receive access to a small business webcast by Premier Sponsor, LinkedIn. In addition, the 20 grant recipients will receive a trip to LinkedIn headquarters.
