Psst. I have a secret to tell you.
I have a feeling there are many of you – like me – who like the idea of going to some type of live Christmas performance with family, but at the same time don’t want to spend tons of money {or three hours} of your life doing it.

Watching the stage begin to come alive with the setting of The Magic Snowman.
Inside The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis at the Lilly Theater, you will find the perfect solution to your holiday humbug. Free to members or included with the price of admission, The Children’s Museum offers a winter themed 45 minute live theater musical that will satisfy your urge to get in the holiday spirit without the usual downsides of a traditional Christmas show.
This past weekend, I took our family to the current musical at the Lilly Theater, The Magic Snowman. I was really impressed how talented the performers were, but more importantly, my kids had a blast. My four-year-old absolutely loved it. In her mind, she was watching a Broadway musical. She had the time of her life. My oldest kids, ages six and nine, really enjoyed the jokes, and the sing alongs. Even my wife and I were entertained. And what’s not to love about a 45 minutes show?!?
