Indy Pizza Week returns Monday for another year of shareable, cheap deliciousness. From August 14 – 20, enjoy half-price pizzas at restaurants all over Indianapolis. With 21 unique restaurants and 38 locations, even the pickiest pizza eater will find a deal to love at IndyPizzaWeek.com.
Want to choose your own toppings? Go to Arni’s, Bazbeaux’s, Sidekicks Pizza, Union Jack Broad Ripple or Whiskey Business Sports Bar & Entertainment. Overwhelmed with all the options? Let the professionals handle it. Go the flatbread route at Drake’s, munch on a Smoking Goat Pizza from Broad Ripple Brewpub or get deep-dish action at Noble Roman’s.
NUVO’s Food Editor Cavan McGinsie recommends making sure to stop by The Nook, the newest member of the Northside Social Family. Then for your other Indy Pizza Week spots, Cavan suggests: Byrne’s special is a great option if you’re looking for thin and crispy, or if you like your pizza out of the box, the Golden Pig from Hops & Fire is both adventurous and tasty.
If you’re lucky enough to live Downtown, half-price pizza will come to you if you order the Indy Pizza Week Special from ClusterTruck or Hotbox. And gamer friends: If you’re heading to #GenCon50 Aug. 17-20, both ClusterTruck and HotBox deliver to the Indiana Convention Center.
Aside from providing a great deal, Indy Pizza Week also serves as a fundraiser for Second Helpings. As with every Indy Food Week, 20 percent of restaurant registration and sponsorship fees go to the local food rescue nonprofit. That means the more you participate in Indy Food Weeks, the more we can give back. (Read up on the ways Indy’s restaurant scene help accomplish Second Helpings’ mission here.)
Restaurants interested in joining in the fundraising effort still have time. Indy Tenderloin Week will be here in September. Sponsors or restaurants can email Jessie at [email protected] to participate.
*See attached poster for all participating locations as of 8/8/17, check IndyPizzaWeek.com for the most up-to-date details on all Indy Pizza Week specials and any deal restrictions.
