What makes Indianapolis Public Schools-Middle Schools unique?

At Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS), we have excellent choices open to every student, in every school, in every neighborhood. Starting in the 2024-25 school year, families can choose from eight different educational models.

IPS offers over 32 high school career pathways and advanced academic options at every high school, free breakfast and lunch, Pre-K and before and after school programs and over 100 community partners.

IPS middle schools range from grades 6–8, with some schools also offering elementary grades. Please refer to each school for specific grade offerings.

What is your enrollment policy? Are there any key dates parents should be aware of?

Enrollment is available through Enroll Indy (www.enrollindy.org). The IPS enrollment windows for the 2024–25 school year are November 1, 2023-January 24, 2024, and January 25, 2024-April 19, 2024. Results are released February 22, 2024, and May 16, 2024.
