IMA launches game nights in Beer Garden

Bring your friends out on Friday nights in May to enjoy classic board and card games, cornhole, live music and much more in the beautiful IMA Beer Garden, located on the front porch of Madeline F. Elder Greenhouse.

Take advantage of the IMA’s extended garden hours and immerse yourself in a quarter of a million blooms for Spring Blooms: Celebration of Color. Spend your Fridays relaxing with friends and listening to some of Indy’s best local artists up close and personal.

Live music lineup includes:

  • May 5 – Cyrus Youngman, the closest thing Indy’s got to Bob Dylan, Youngman is a socially aware musician with songs he’s lived, full of hope and heartbreak
  • May 12 – : Monika Herzig, an accomplished Jazz pianist, composer, and a faculty member at Indiana University, Herzig’s originals and arrangements of standard repertoire spans from John Lennon to Hoagy Carmichael
  • May 19 – Allison Victoria, a soulful vocalist with a graceful range and tone, stirs warm and soothing rhythms for the heart and mind
  • May 26 – Samuel Lawson, a classical guitarist combining 19th century Spain, Celtic, Renaissance, and Jazz, leads listeners on a auditory journey of time and place

On the final Friday, May 26, make sure you come prepared with the best table-tennis players you know. Enter the IMA Open table-tennis tournament and see if you have what it takes to claim the crown.
