Hot Shot Tot Lot might not be the biggest playground in Indianapolis, but it definitely has the coolest name. Part of the Indy Parks & Recreation system of parks, Hot Shot Tot Lot is a cute little place to play if you’re in the Fountain Square area.
Hot Shot Tot Lot Playground
Hot Shot Tot Lot is considered to be a mini playground by Indy Parks & Recreation. Set on just 0.14 acres, this pocket park is located within Fountain Square’s micro neighborhood of North Square. At Hot Shot Tot Lot, visitors will find:
- two slides
- playground equipment with areas to climb
- three swings, including a swing for babies and a caregiver to swing together
- a picnic table and benches
- lots of mature trees with shade
The park is a short distance away from family-friendly restaurants, including Three Carrots, Diary Queen and Greek’s Pizzeria.
