What is your enrollment policy? Are there any key dates parents should be aware of?
Heritage Christian offers rolling admissions. We are always accepting new applications as long as there are seats available. More information about our admissions process can be found at heritagechristian.net/admissions/process.
Do you offer financial assistance?
We understand that many families are in the difficult position of weighing the potential life-changing value of providing a Christian education at Heritage Christian School for their child, with the affordability of tuition within their budget. If you desire a Christian education for your child, then we will strive to work with you to make that a reality. Approximately 50% of our families receive some financial assistance. What are the standard school day hours?
- Early Childhood Program (Preschool, Prep-K, and Kindergarten): 8:00 a.m. to 2:10 p.m.
- Elementary School (Grades 1-4): 8:00 a.m. to 2:40 p.m.
- Intermediate – High School (Grades 5-12): 8:00 a.m. to 3:05 p.m.
- Our business office is open Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. during the school year and 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. during the summer.
Does Heritage Christian offer before/after school care? Does Heritage Christian offer afterschool activities?
We currently offer morning care for our students beginning at 7:00 AM. We also offer an after-school care option called Eagle Care. Eagle Care is an extended care program for students in preschool – 8th grade who need consistent after-school care on specific days of the week. Our athletics teams practice after school and we have a variety of student activities that meet after school as well.
Is there a uniform or dress code?
At Heritage, we desire that students have a standard of dress that is modest and neat. Parents/guardians, as the primary educators of their children, play a key role in this area of standard of dress. How many children attend Heritage Christian? How many students are in the average classroom?
Approximately 1,500 students are enrolled at Heritage Christian School in preschool through grade 12. Our average student-to-teacher ratio is 12:1!
Does Heritage Christian offer support for students with special needs?
Our Educational Support Services program acknowledges learning differences and provides a variety of programs, intervention strategies, and teaching methods to meet the learning needs and challenges of exceptional children. Support extends to the teachers and families of children who learn differently. Through a team effort, children with learning differences will become successful and independent learners who realize their God-given abilities and fulfill their God-designed potential. What specialty classes / extracurricular activities does Heritage Christian offer (gym, art, language, sports etc.)?
We offer a wide range of specialty classes and extracurricular activities for our students including fine arts, athletics, robotics, internships, specialized academy programs for specific interests, and more! What are Heritage Christian’s safety policies?
It is the desire of the Safety and Security Department at Heritage to stand ready to defend and protect the HCS family and serve all who depend on us to be prepared in any situation. Our department consistently evaluates policies and procedures to protect and more faithfully serve the Heritage community.
Our security department includes over 35 years of military training and experience. We make it a priority to hire veterans and former officers as a part of our internal security team. On a daily basis, this team connects with our students and employees to create a relationship of trust and open communication.
