What is the enrollment process, and are there any key dates families should know?
Heritage Christian School is currently accepting applications for all grade levels for the 2027–28 school year. Families who complete their application and all required checklist items by November 1 will receive early decision consideration, with decisions communicated by December 15. Does Heritage Christian offer financial assistance?
Yes. Heritage is committed to helping make Christian education accessible to families. Financial aid is available for qualifying students in Prep-K through grade 12, and approximately 50% of Heritage families receive some form of financial assistance. What are the standard school day hours?
- Early Childhood Program (Preschool, Prep-K, and Kindergarten): 8:00 AM to 2:10 PM
- Elementary School (Grades 1-4): 8:00 AM to 2:45 PM
- Intermediate School (Grades 5-6): 8:10 AM to 3:05 PM
- Middle & High School (Grades 7-12): 8:10 AM to 3:25 PM


Does Heritage Christian offer before- or after-school care and after-school activities?
Morning care is available beginning at 7 AM. Heritage also offers Eagle Care, an after-school extended care program for students in preschool through grade 8. Students in older grades can participate in a wide variety of after-school athletics, clubs, fine arts, and other activities.

Does Heritage Christian have a uniform or dress code?
Heritage Christian School does not have a school uniform. Instead, students follow clear appearance standards rooted in our mission to glorify God and guided by three consistent principles across all divisions: neatness, appropriateness, and modesty.


How many students attend Heritage Christian, and what is the average class size or student-to-teacher ratio?
We serve approximately 1,700 students in preschool through grade 12. Student-to-teacher ratios vary by grade level, with additional classroom support provided by teacher assistants through grade 6.


Does Heritage Christian offer support for students with special needs or learning differences?
Yes. Heritage Christian School provides support for students with a variety of learning differences and educational needs through our Educational Support Services (ESS) program. Support may include intervention programs, academic support, accommodation plans, and other services based on a student’s individual needs. What specialty classes and extracurricular activities does Heritage Christian offer?
We offer a wide range of specialty classes and extracurricular opportunities that vary by grade level, including physical education, visual and performing arts, Spanish and French, athletics, robotics, Mock Trial, and a variety of clubs and activities for students in grades 5–12. Students have many opportunities to explore their interests, develop their God-given gifts, and get involved in the school community.


What safety and security measures does Heritage Christian have in place?
Heritage Christian School takes a layered approach to campus safety and security. Our Heritage Christian School Police Department (HCSPD) provides a visible, professional, and relational law enforcement presence on campus and includes a Chief of Police, School Resource Officers, and civilian security officers. Additional safety measures include controlled building access, visitor check-in procedures, regular emergency training and drills, and ongoing collaboration with local law enforcement. Our team also prioritizes building trust and open communication with students, families, and staff.
