Harry’s Second Year at Hogwarts, With a Live Score
Chamber of Secrets follows Harry back to Hogwarts for his second year: talking spiders, scolding letters and giant snakes, now with John Williams’ music played live by the orchestra on stage. Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly leads the ISO.
For kids who already know the story, it is an easy first trip to the symphony: the plot is familiar, the screen keeps them oriented, and they get to hear a full orchestra up close. The Saturday matinee falls on Halloween afternoon, which leaves the evening free for trick-or-treating, and the Sunday matinee is the other daytime option for younger fans.

More Film Concerts at the ISO
The ISO’s film series continues with Disney’s The Lion King: Live in Concert on Feb. 13 and 14, 2027. Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl in Concert follows on March 20 and 21, 2027, and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi in Concert runs April 30 to May 2, 2027.
