On June 6, 2024, Indianapolis residents can dive into summer fun with a Free Community Pool Day! This exciting event, organized by Indiana Sports Corp in partnership with Indy Parks and the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis, will open the doors to over 20 pools across the city.

When and Where
The free swim sessions will run from 11 AM to 2 PM and 3 PM to 6 PM, providing ample opportunities for families and individuals to cool off and enjoy the water. Participating pools include popular spots like Broad Ripple Park, Eagle Creek Beach, and various YMCA locations.
Activities and Safety
In addition to swimming, the event will feature water safety promotions, giveaways, and a collective challenge to swim 4,000 miles – the distance between Indianapolis and Paris, the host city of the 2024 Summer Olympics.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult, and all pools will adhere to capacity guidelines.
