Fourth of July Celebrations

From weekend-long festivals to elaborate fireworks displays to celebrations steeped in history, Hamilton County certainly knows how to celebrate the Fourth of July! Whether you are looking to stick to tradition or try out something new this year, we’ve got the details on all of the action-packed celebrations taking place across the county.

 

 

Lights Over Morse Lake

This homegrown festival brings together all persons, young and old, in a celebration of our nation and our community. Events include a 5k walk/run, balloon glow, live music, a parade, fireworks and much more. Click here for event schedule.

CarmelFest

This family-friendly celebration of our country’s birth features entertainment, live music, a 5K run/walk, parade and kids zone. The spectacular Carmel Symphony will also perform on one of the 3 entertainment stages. This event ends with a spectacular fireworks display. See event schedule here.

Glorious Fourth

Join the residents of 1836 Prairietown as they celebrate our country’s birthday. Help decorate the town, join in games, dance and sing patriotic songs. Test your brains and brawn by participating in history quizzes and the strongest farmhand competition. Participate in militia drills, sample muster day cakes, hear a reading of the Declaration of Independence and help honor military veterans on this most important of 1836 holidays.

Star Spangled Symphony

After enjoying the Glorious Fourth, stay into the evening for the ISO’s annual patriotic performance that celebrates America and salutes U.S. military service members. This summertime tradition features concludes with a spectacular fireworks show.

Westfield Rocks the 4th

Westfield Rocks the 4th is the City of Westfield’s largest event. A celebration of America’s Independence Day, WR4 is a free festival with something for people of all ages. This festival features entertainment, food, and fun activities for the entire family to enjoy. Please note this year’s NEW location!

Location: Grand Park, Westfield
Dates: July 4, 4-10 pm

Noblesville Fourth of July Festival

This free festival kicks off with a patriotic parade, followed by an evening of games and activities. Food vendors will be on hand. Attendees can also pack a picnic dinner. The evening culminates in a fireworks display beginning at approximately 10 p.m.

Dates: July 4, 6-10 pm

Blast on the Bridge

The bridge closes to traffic at 4 p.m. and opens to the public at 6 p.m., so be sure to arrive early! There will be games and activities for the kids to enjoy while they wait, and be sure to stick around for the main event: a gorgeous fireworks display over the water.
