Find the Ultimate Sugar Rush at TeeJay’s Sweet Tooth

TeeJay’s Sweet Tooth is the place to go when you want a super impressive, fun and Instagram-worthy treat. Located on the northwest side of Indy, this ice cream shop has been doling out scoops and sugar rushes since it opened in 2018. 

TeeJay’s Specialties

This is the only place to find donut ice cream sandwiches in Indy! So, if you’ve always struggled with deciding whether to treat yourself to ice cream or donuts, fret not. You can have both! (What a time to be alive!) TeeJay’s puts two scoops of your choice of ice cream between a warm, glazed yeast donut. They feature fun ice cream flavors that change daily. You’ll find flavors like banana cream pie, lemoreo, cotton candy and birthday batter, along with the classic flavors like vanilla and chocolate. You can also top your donut ice cream sandwich with Cap’n Crunch, Cookie Crisp, Lucky Charms or other fun cereal they have available that day.

Probably the most impressive treat at TeeJay’s — and their most popular — is the Fruity Pebbles ice cream sandwich. Like the donut sandwich, two scoops of your choice of ice cream are sandwiched between two Fruity Pebble krispy treats, then topped off with your choice of cereal. It’s colorful, it’s delicious and it’s fun — the perfect combination for any kid or kid at heart.

TeeJay’s also offers warm brownie sundaes, ice cream cones and milkshakes. But because this is TeeJay’s, you can get your milkshake with an edible frosting rim (because of course you can!). 

Fun Facts About TeeJay’s

• TeeJay’s Sweet Tooth is co-owned by Taylor DeBruce and Jerome Tiah, two licensed dental hygienists. On their website, they joke that opening TeeJay’s Sweet Tooth is offering them “job security.” Ha!
• The spoons at TeeJay’s are color-changing! Watch them turn from pink to purple as you eat.
• Gluten-free and dairy-free folks can find at least one sorbet option at Teejay’s, along with gluten-free cereal toppings and gluten-free chocolate chips.

TeeJay’s Sweet Tooth is located at 8660 Purdue Rd., Suite 600 in Indianapolis. Right now, TeeJay’s is only open for drive-thru ordering, which is located on the east end of their building.
