DETAILS: Thousands of families and bicycle enthusiasts will descend upon Monument Circle in celebration of the 8th annual IU Health Indy Criterium Bicycle Festival. This family-friendly festival is a fun way to enjoy bicycling in the heart of the city while watching world-class amateur and professional bicycle racing. Families can kick off the day with the PNC Family Fun Ride 9:30am that begins with a 1-mile parade lap on closed city streets and then continues for a 3.5-mile tour of the Indianapolis Cultural Trail. From 10am – 2pm, kids can take part in the PNC Kids Zone strengthened by Riley Children’s Health, featuring bicycle obstacle courses, BMX stunt shows, face painting, games, food and FUN! Be sure to sign your kids up for the free PNC Kids Bicycle Races down Meridian Street for youth ages 3-8 taking place at 2pm.
