Metropolitan Youth Ballet invites Girl Scout Daisies, Brownies and Juniors into the Land of Sweets for a Nutcracker-themed afternoon with the Sugar Plum Fairy. Scouts learn a Nutcracker-inspired dance, make a holiday craft, hear a Nutcracker story time and watch MYB dancers perform excerpts from the ballet.
Each scout earns a badge, takes home a gift bag and receives one free child ticket to MYB’s production of The Nutcracker on December 18-20. Troops and individual scouts are welcome, every scout must come with an adult or troop leader, and space is limited, so registration is required.
