Join the Sugar Creek Township Firefighters and all our friends for a fun-filled day of activities, demonstrations, and learning. Ride in an antique fire engine, but make sure you check out our more up-to-date apparatus we use to respond to emergencies. Check out PHI Stat Flight helicopter and visit with their incredible emergency medical flight crew. Do you have a child who wants to be a firefighter? Let them try their skills at the Firefighter combat challenge. The first 100 children can receive a free bike helmet. Take the great home escape challenge in our Safety house. Visit with the Hancock County Sheriff’s Deputies. See up close how your emergency medical technicians learn their skills in the IDHS Ambulance simulation lab. Visit all the great Health, Nutrition and Injury Prevention, and Emergency preparedness venues around the firehouse. Bring a nonperishable food item to help fill the food bank and get a chance to win one of our fantastic door prizes. So much fun to see and to do!
