After a nature-themed story, children can explore activity stations at their own pace. Stations vary by week and may include puppets, coloring pages, art, games, active play, animal visits and activities related to the week’s topic.
The program is best suited for preschool and kindergarten children, though early elementary students are welcome. It is free with park admission, and adults must stay with their children for the entire program, with at least one adult for every four children. Depending on the weather and topic, the program will meet either at the Earth Discovery Center shelter behind the Go Ape Cabin or inside the Earth Discovery Center. The program is not intended for large school or daycare groups.
