The Carmel High School Planetarium hosts a public children’s show under its dome. This program, “Max Goes to the Moon!,” follows Max the dog and a girl named Tori on the first trip to the moon since the Apollo era, with short science segments on the phases of the moon and what happens to a Frisbee or curveball in low gravity. Grown-ups and kids learn together, and the show runs about 45 minutes.
The show is recommended for ages 4 and up. Tickets are sold online through GoFan, and the school asks guests to download tickets before arriving because cell service may not work inside the building.
