Families learn about Indiana owls at the Perelman Pavilion in West Park, dissect an owl pellet to find out what the owl ate and then, after sunset and weather permitting, take a short hike through the woods to hoot for an owl. Late fall and early winter are good times to hear owls setting up nesting territories.
The program is $4 per person, with one registration per person, and is open to all ages.
