October Owl Festival

The 11th Annual October Owl Festival at the Eagle Creek Park Ornithology Center gives families a weekend of hands-on activities and opportunities to learn more about owls and other raptors. Visitors can meet the center’s raptor ambassadors, explore exhibits and learn about owls throughout the festival.

Activities include owl pellet dissections, crafts, games, scavenger hunts and a migration obstacle course. The Ornithology Center will also have concessions, vendor tables and a silent auction display. Activities will be moved indoors if it rains.

The festival itself is free. Park entrance fees apply: $6 per vehicle for Marion County residents, $8 per vehicle for out-of-county residents, or $1 for pedestrians and bicyclists. Indy Parks annual passes are also accepted.
