Footlite Musicals presents Mean Girls at the Hedback Theatre. Adapted from Tina Fey’s 2004 film, the musical follows Cady Heron, who grew up on an African savanna and now has to navigate high school in suburban Illinois, where she takes on a trio of popular girls known as The Plastics and their leader, Regina George.
Footlite has not posted an age recommendation for this show. The story centers on high school cliques, revenge and bullying and is adapted from a PG-13 film, so it is better suited to teens and adults than to young children.
Tickets are $17 to $27, with discounted seats at every Thursday performance and the first Sunday performance. Everyone attending needs a ticket, regardless of age.
